Nissan pips 2Touch to the post

Congratulations to the Sunderland Nissan plant in their award wins at this years Sunderland Echo Portfolio Awards.

Following a very successful year that saw them roll off the 1millionth Quashqui from the production line and celebrate 25 years at their Sunderland site, not only did they manage to fend of 2Touch and G O’Brien and Sons in the Business of the Year award category but they came up trumps in the Manufacturer of the Year award and we also honoured with the Overall Portfolio Business of the Year award.

2Touch’s success over the past 12 months, drive to be an employer of choice and ambitious growth plans were not enough to beat the car manufacturer’s fantastic achievements this year!

Other winners included: Barclays (Employer of the Year), Harland Corporation (Small Business -under 50 employees) and Oliver’s Dental Studio (Special Community Award).
