Warehousing

The 2Touch Warehouse spans 85000 sq ft and holds up to 10000 pallet positions, with the ability to increase these positions by using our free stack area. We also have the capability to utilise offsite storage facilities for Clients, if required.

The most important aspect of warehousing is how the stock is handled and at 2Touch we treat our Clients’ stock as if it was our own. We have a constant housekeeping programme which ensures the entire warehouse, including the racking is kept as clean and as dust free as possible. We also undertake a continual stock audit process checking both levels and quality of stock. To ensure peace of mind, we have round the clock CCTV and secure cage areas for high value, pocketable goods.

Additionally our Warehouse Management System (WMS) provides a number of benefits to our Clients. Firstly, this online system enables the Warehouse team to provide real-time stock information, right down to single digits. It also allows us to generate trend reports which our Clients can use to better anticipate the amount of stock they will need and when. This can often result in our Clients saving money as they are able to better manage their purchasing and eliminate the possibility of over ordering goods.

Finally because we are experts in multi-channel customer interaction we are able to oversee customers’ orders at every stage which, in turn means that we have the ability to handle any returned items and carry out the necessary quality checks and stock returns.

Our commitment and dedication to storing Clients’ stock in the best possible conditions is evident in our stock check results. For example, we performed a full stock check immediately after the Christmas trading period for one of our large retail Clients. This was completed in just three days whereby 141,953 individual items were counted and a deviance of just 0.39% was found.
